Thank you for visiting our Smoky Mountain luxury vacation rental in North Carolina. The Lakehouse is situated on almost two acres of gently sloping property in the area's premier lakefront community of Glenshore. With more than 2 acres of lakefront on pristine Lake Glenville, it is the ideal spot from which to enjoy many water activities including swimming, fishing from the dock, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, and water skiing.

The spacious interior of the two-story house can best be described as lodge-like. It features antique heart pine floors, generous sitting and dining areas with massive native-stone fireplaces, a soaring ceiling in the main salon, a comfortable blend of antiques, and rustic and over-stuffed furniture. All of the common living areas afford spectacular lake views through large windows and French doors leading to the wrap-around porch.

There are 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Four bedrooms are furnished with custom designed and handcrafted king size beds. One bedroom has twin beds. Three baths feature marble soaking tubs and the fourth bath has a step-in shower.

The dining area features an antler chandelier and custom-made wormy chestnut table that will seat up to 12. The open kitchen is state-of-the-art and fully equipped. There is a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, stainless range and hood, dishwasher, microwave, granite countertops, and a huge work/serving table.

The house is outfitted with wireless Internet TVs, VCRs, and DVD and CD players. There are linens, bath and beach towels, extra blankets, and bed pillows for your convenience. We even supply fishing poles, walking sticks, and board games for your enjoyment! The Lakehouse really is the perfect getaway destination!
