Tucked away in a very desirable, gated second-home community on a gently sloping, two acre lot with 225 feet of shoreline and private boat dock, our mountain lake rental home is ideal for hosting family and friends. The well appointed two-level home offers an open floor plan for entertaining, 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths, a second gathering area on the terrace level and wrap-around porches – the perfect spot to enjoy excellent views of the lake.
Masterful attention to detail just begins to describe the interior of our Cashiers vacation rental. From the open, fully equipped kitchen with its stainless steel dishwasher, microwave, side-by-side refrigerator-freezer, granite countertops and custom, solid cherry cabinets to the many books, board games and puzzles available for your pleasure and enjoyment.
Additional enhancing features include custom crafted wormy chestnut table in the expansive dining area seats twelve comfortably. Four of the five bedrooms are furnished with custom crafted king size beds. The fifth bedroom features rustic, hickory twin beds. Three of the baths feature marble soaking tubs and surrounds, the fourth bath has a walk-in shower.
Twin leather sofas flank the massive wood-burning stone fireplace in the beamed ceiling main salon. There's a cozy nook for watching TV, reading or playing cards and a hand-woven rush "morris" chair for relaxing.
The inviting terrace level gathering room boasts a large, TV and DVD player, variety of board games and puzzles, DVD collection, game table, comfortable seating and a wood-burning Tennessee fieldstone fireplace.
Our lake house is outfitted with wireless Internet access, satellite TVs, DVD and CD player. There are beach towels, extra blankets, food storage wraps, dish and laundry detergents and a state-of-the-art energy efficient washer and dryer for your convenience.
The rustic, yet stylish decor is further complimented by generous outdoor living spaces – wrap-around porches overlook the lake and span the length of the house, a lakeside grill station encourages dining alfresco, an inviting sunning ledge offers incredible lake views amid fragrant hemlocks and white pines. Kayaks, canoe and sailboat await you dockside. We even supply fishing poles, walking sticks, beach chairs and life vests for your use and enjoyment!
